Learn to skate with us!

Our skating lessons are run by experienced coaches who have built up a very strong reputation here at CurveMotion. With lesson classes being kept smaller, the ratio of students to instructor means you will get plenty of support.

Beginner Lessons

Thursdays (term time)

17:00 - 18:00

Cost: £55 (5 week course)

Suitable for those with little or no roller skating experience. Learn how to start, stop, fall over (correctly!) and get up again (useful!). By the end of the course you will be able to skate confidently with some basic skills.

Improver Lessons

Thursdays (term time)

17:00 - 18:00

Cost: £55 (5 week course)

Suitable for those who have already completed the Beginner course or for those who have some experience of roller skating. Learn more advanced techniques including turning, gliding, cross-overs, more sophisticated stopping methods and skating backwards. Once completed you'll be ready to impress your friends at one of our public skating sessions!

Cost: £60 (6 week membership)*

Designed for the more competent skater these sessions cover different aspects of Roller Skating including Roller Hockey, Speed Skating, Artistic Skating and more.
Participants must have completed our Improvers course, or be fully competent at skating. An assessment may be carried out prior to the start of the course and the instructors reserve the right to refuse participation in these sessions.

*Equates to £10 per week, price adjusted according to term length

These sessions are designed to be more flexible and can be booked as a one-off or on an ongoing basis, and are available in either 30-minute or 1-hour sessions for either individuals or as joint lessons.
