Terms and Conditions
The information contained in this website is for general information
purposes only. The information is provided by Curve Motion Ltd and while
we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no
representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about
the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability
with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or
related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance
you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without
limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or
damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of,
or in connection with, the use of this website.
Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are
not under the control of Curve Motion Ltd. We have no control over the
nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any
links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views
expressed within them.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly.

liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical
issues beyond our control.

Only food and drink purchased on site can be consumed at CurveMotion.
The only exception to this is food for babies. You may bring your own
birthday cake only if you have pre-booked a party at CurveMotion.
Anyone using the dropslide must be at least 1.10m in height and over the
age the age of 7 years. Legs, body and feet MUST be covered (preferably
long sleeves as well). Parents or carers are only allowed to sign the
disclaimer form if the child is under the age of 7 yrs but over the
height of 1.10m (please use good judgement in all cases). No man-made
fibres/nylon clothes e.g. football shirt, nylon tracksuit bottoms,
leggings, socks etc. These can burn through and may cause friction
burns onto the body.
Online Bookings
Booking online guarantees entry to CurveMotion. Dedicated tables and seats can only be reserved via a party booking.
E-Tickets must be purchased at least 30 minutes in advance of your visit.
E-Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party.
It is the E-Ticket Visitor's responsibility to check prior to purchase
that the information supplied in respect of the E-Ticket is accurate. If
inaccurate information is supplied this may result in additional
charges or voiding of the E-Ticket.
Discount vouchers, promotional coupons or other offers cannot be used in
conjunction with E-Tickets. Please note : this does not apply to online
discount tickets purchased from the official CurveMotion website.
A valid E-Ticket must be produced upon arrival prior to entering CurveMotion.
The credit card used to book the tickets must be produced upon entry.
E-Tickets must be clearly legible and relinquished upon entry.
E-Tickets for any skating session are valid only for the date and time
of the session for which they are issued. During busy times, access to
the Playframe will not be allowed beyond the session for which the
ticket was bought.
E-Ticket Visitors are admitted to CurveMotion subject to the Rules of
Entry displayed on our website and at the Entrance to the venue.
Pre-booking Skate Hire does not guarantee the correct size will be available.
Any additional visitors wishing to enter with an E-Ticket holder will be required to pay the standard attraction admission rate.
Curve Motion Ltd reserves the right to alter admission prices and opening times without notice.
When attraction capacity is reached on busier days Curve Motion Ltd
reserves the right to control any queue or the flow of visitors into the
venue. E-Ticket Visitors are advised that in these circumstances this
can result in delays at entry.
General Party Bookings Terms and Conditions
A party booking must be secured by the payment of either a
non-refundable deposit or full payment for parties booked online.
CurveMotion will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate any request
for a change of date and/or time of the booking. If a change can be
made an administration fee may be applied depending upon the timing of
the request. If the request cannot be accomodated and the original
party date is not kept, it will be treated as a cancellation of the
party, and any payment made to date will be forfeited.
There are no refunds for guests that fail to arrive.
Further terms and conditions may apply and will be available at the time of booking any party.
CurveMotion 'Rules of Entry' and 'General Terms and Conditions' will apply.
There may be skate games played if you book a skate related party during any public skating sessions.
Cakes may be brought into the venue only when booking an official CurveMotion party.
Helium balloons are not permitted.
C'Boom! After School Party Bookings
Party bookings for C'Boom! Parties are only available to be booked via the online facility.
The party booking will be secured by full payment based upon the number of guests (this must include the birthday child.
Party guest numbers cannot be decreased. Any request to increase numbers will be dealt with on an individual basis.
Play, Skate, Play & Skate and Activity Party Bookings
The party booking must be secured by a non-refundable deposit payment.
The balance of payment must be made on or before 12pm, three working
days prior to the party date. An administration fee will be applied if
payment is made after this time.
The party will deemed cancelled if full balance of payment is not made
prior to 12pm of the previous working day for the party date.
Working days are Monday through Friday (not Saturday or Sunday) 9am - 5pm.
Confirmation of party guest numbers must be made at the same time as the
final balance of payment. Any further changes to the number of party
guests may not be accepted beyond this date.
Payment can be made using Credit/Debit card over the phone or at the
venue. Cash payments can only be accepted in person at the venue.
Written cheques can only be accepted with prior agreement by CurveMotion
management and must have cleared at least three working days prior to
the party.
Party Advice
Children up to 12 years must be supervised by an adult. There must be
at least one adult for every 5 children over the age of 5, and one adult
for every 3 children under 5. Permission must be sought from the
management to take photographs or film the party. Whilst every
effort has been made to ensure the children’s optimum safety, Curve
Motion Ltd cannot accept responsibility for accidents that occur as a
result of using the facilities.
The Management reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions without prior notification.
Skate Lesson Terms and Conditions
Payment for courses to be received no later than 7 days after a
booking request has been made. Places will not be secured until payment
has been made in full.
Places on courses are limited for health and safety reasons.
Participants will be required to wear wristguards. Helmets and pads are
also available. A signed disclaimer will be required should the
participant decline to wear wristguards.
A waiting list for courses will be in operation if the chosen course
is fully booked. Alternative course days and times will be offered if
available. All children 12 and under must be accompanied in the venue
for the duration of the class. Parents/Carers will not be allowed onto
the Skating Rink during the class unless permission has been given by
the Instructor. A booking form (provided when a booking is secured) must
be completed and returned at least 14 days prior to the course start
date.
Course participants must be ready to start the course at the allocated
time i.e. already wearing skates, guards and any pads. No time is
allowed at the beginning of the lesson to put on these items.
CurveMotion ‘Rules of Entry’ apply. CurveMotion reserves the rights of
admission to all courses.
Curve Motion Ltd cannot accept responsibility for injury or accidents
that occur during any skating lessons. Protective equipment cannot
always prevent injuries.
The Management reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions without prior notification.
Free Passes
No monetary value. Skate passes do not include skate hire. Valid for
standard sessions only. Not to be used in conjunction with any other
offer. Invalid after the expiry date. Non transferrable. Duplicated
copies will not be accepted. Standard CurveMotion rules of entry and
terms and conditions apply. More than one pass can be redeemed per
transaction. CurveMotion cannot be held responsible if a pass is lost,
damaged or used without permission. Only accepted with a valid
signature.
Gift Vouchers
No monetary value. Skate passes do not include skate hire. Invalid
after the expiry date. Non transferrable. Duplicated copies will not be
accepted. Standard CurveMotion rules of entry and terms and conditions
apply. More than one pass can be redeemed per transaction. CurveMotion
cannot be held responsible if a voucher is lost, damaged or used without
permission. The full face value of the voucher must be used in a single
transaction. No change given. Only accepted with a valid signature. £5 & £1
vouchers redeemably against admission, merchandise and/or the CurveBistro.
Privacy Policy
Curve Motion Ltd is committed to safeguarding all personal information
collected online. As many visitors to this site are children, we take
care to ensure our content is appropriate. This privacy notice governs
the collection and use of information on Curve Motion Ltd’s website. We
may modify our practices from time to time, and as such the privacy
policy may change. It is the responsibility of the visitor to the
website to ensure they are aware of the privacy policy at the time of
their visit.
CurveMotion Direct Marketing and GDPR update
As Data Controllers, Curve Motion Ltd is committed to ensuring any
personal information collected is handled in a safe and secure way.
Information collected can include your name, email address, date of
birth, address and telephone number for the purpose of sending you
direct marketing information about upcoming events, offers and other
details relevant to the activities run by Curve Motion Ltd.
It is collected through various portals including feedback forms,
competitions, sign-up forms on the website and bookings made for Curve
Motion Ltd events and parties both online and onsite on an ‘opt in’
basis. Your details will only be used for the purposes as listed above,
and you will have the opportunity to stop receiving correspondence at
any time by unsubscribing from the list.
Data Processors
We engage with specific third parties who are used solely to assist in
the processing of your details in order to facilitate the collection and
distribution of information as listed above. These companies will also
be GDPR compliant.
Your personal data will not be shared/sold/traded with any other third parties.
The Information We Collect
Curve Motion Ltd will not collect personally identifiable information unless it is:-
- Voluntarily provided to us.
- Required by us for online purchases or bookings
- Requested for activities or submissions
Those using our online booking or purchasing services
will be required to provide personal information which may include full
name, billing and mailing addresses, email address, telephone number and
credit card information. Information regarding third parties may also
be requested e.g. when booking parties, including names and ages. This
will not include their contact details such as telephone numbers or
addresses. When visitors come to our website, we may automatically
collect some non-personally identifiable information such as the type of
computer operating system, browser and domain name of the Internet
Service Provider.
How We Use the Information
Personal information will be used for internal purposes only, such as to
subscribe to our online newsletter, purchase from or book with Curve
Motion Ltd. We will only use the names and email addresses of
subscribers to our email newsletter to send them the newsletter. Each
newsletter includes instructions for subscription removal via return
email. We will never sell, rent or otherwise share our visitors’
personal information with third parties unless:-
- Required by law
- The third party is working with CurveMotion to fulfill any order or service and requires the information to satisfy their obligations
We may use non-personally identifiable information that
we collect to improve the design and content of our website. We may
also aggregate this information to analyse site usage, as well as to

Our site may contain links to other sites whose information practices

Motion Ltd’s privacy policy and visitors are encouraged to consult these

Curve Motion Ltd may use a software technology called “cookies”.
Cookies are small text files that are placed in visitors’ browsers to
store their preferences. Cookies themselves do not contain any
personally identifiable information. Although cookies could enable us
to relate a visitor’s use of this website to personal information that
the visitor has provided, such as an email address, we will not use
cookies for this purpose. We may use cookies to determine how many
visitors we have and how often they visit various sections of our site.
Security
When using credit cards to place orders or bookings with Curve Motion
Ltd via our website, a technology is used that automatically encrypts
the credit card data while information is being transmitted over the
Internet, provided that the visitor’s browser supports the Secure Socket
Layer protocol (SSL). To verify the security of your connection with
Curve Motion Ltd, please check your browser window to ensure that there
is a closed padlock sign. This will indicate that SSL is active and the
server is secure. You can also check by looking at the URL address to
ensure it changes from http to https.
Reviewing and Accessing Your Personal Information
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you
under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If
you would like to make such a request please write to us at the address
given on the Contact Us page of the website. If you believe that any
information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please
write to us or send us an email. We will promptly correct any
information found to be incorrect.
Complaints
We strive to deliver the highest level and quality of service across all areas of the business.
Should your expectations not be met, please bring it to the attention of the Duty Manager on the day of your visit. Retrospective complaints cannot be accepted.
AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
General Admissions:
All bookings can be transferred to equivalent sessions and activities at no additional charge. A resultant change to different type of session, or activity may incur additional charges. If any refund is due from the transfer it will be subject to our general admission refundterms and conditions. A booking may also be exchanged for the vouchers of the equivalent amount with no administration fee at any time.
- Up to 7 days prior to visit date: 100% refund less £2 administration fee
- From 7 days up to 24 hours prior to visit date: 25% refund plus £2 administration fee
- Within 24 hours of the visit date: Vouchers of equivalent amount
Parties:
Terms and Conditions can be found on the Instruction Booklet for the party type booked.
Lessons:
All bookings can be transferred to alternative course dates, but this must be requested before 7 days prior to the course commencement date. A booking may also be exchanged for vouchers of the equivalent value but again this must be requested prior to 7 days of the course commencement date. No administration fee will be payable for either options.
- Prior to 14 days of the course commencement date: 100% refund less £2 administration fee
- Within 14 days and up to 7 days prior to course commencement date: 50% refund plus £2 administration fee
- Within 7 days of the course commencement date: Non refundable
Patch Time / Play Time:
All bookings can be transferred to alternative days/times subject to availability. This can be done up to 24 hours in advance of the visit date and will not incur any administration fee.
- Prior to 7 days before the visit date: 100% refund less an administration fee of £2 per hour booked Patch Time; £4 per hour booked Play Time
- From 7 days up to 24 hours prior to the visit date: 25% refund plus an administration fee of £2 per hour booked Patch Time; £4 per hour booked Play Time
- Within 24 hours of the visit date: Vouchers of equivalent amount
*Administration fees cover the payment processing fees of the original booking and the refund
